Dear Parent/Carer,

With temperatures forecast to reach 33°C on Monday and Tuesday, we'll be taking extra steps in school to help everyone stay cool, comfortable and safe.

Here's how we're preparing:

Children can wear their PE kits to school.

We'll be keeping classrooms shaded and ventilated, limiting time outdoors during the hottest parts of the day, and providing extra water breaks.

How you can help:

Please send your child in with a refillable

water bottle.

Apply sun cream before school.

• A hat and light clothing are strongly encouraged.
