As part of our PSHE lessons this half term, we will be introducing Reception children to the 'Pantasaurus'.  The Pantasaurus, along with the NSPCC, helps children to understand that their body belongs to them, and they should tell a safe adult they trust if anything makes them feel upset or worried.  Using catchy songs and a story book, this is a child-friendly way to introduce this important subject.  In the coming weeks, your child will be bringing home our school Pantasaurus, along with the story book and a parent booklet.  Please read the story with your child, (why not read it to the Pantasaurus?) and return the book and toy back to school for the next child to take home.  The parent booklet is yours to keep.  You can find further information about the Pantasaurus and the important work that the NSPCC do here:   https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/support-for-parents/pants-underwear-rule/
