An Important Message from the PTA13 May 2024 (by admin) |
Our school has had a successful, committed and hardworking PTA for many years. In our time we have raised thousands of pounds which has been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school.
However, our PTA is about much more than just fundraising. The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school. We have always aimed to create fun memories for our children. We have discos, Santa breakfasts, youths clubs, bedtime stories, Mother’s/Father’s Day stalls and the Mitchell’s Mudder to name just a few of our events.
We are a registered charity and our committee is made up of parents. Everything the PTA has achieved is due to the time that members have voluntarily given for the benefit of every child in school.
The children of the current committee members are in Year 6 and so will be leaving schooL in July, Therefore to enable the PTA to continue it’s good work, at least 2 volunteers are required to take over the running of the charity. If we’re unable to find 2 committee members, the PTA will close.
