Dear Parents/Carers,

Following my letter dated 13th November 2023, I am writing to remind you that after the February half-term, from Monday 26th February 2024, Reception children will need to be dropped off at the main gate at 8.45am. There will be no change to the current collection time.

We already have some Reception children who are being dropped off at the main gate. For those that are not doing this already, you may wish to use this opportunity to prepare your child(ren) in readiness for the new drop off location.

There are a number of factors that have been taken into consideration in making this change, such as maximising the time teaching staff have first thing in the morning for learning in the day, reducing the number of people moving around the school site at any time, encouraging our children to develop levels of independence and most importantly site security and everyone’s safety.
